    University of Dar es Salaam (USDM)

    USDM and Kumbe share an MoU with the following purpose. Establish a cooperation and collaboration to increase capacity building in innovative methodologies and technologies for biodiversity monitoring and create a more informed and engaged society that values and protects healthy, functional ecosystems at all levels.

  • University of Verona

    Prof. Massimo Delledonne from the university of Verona (Italy) has developed a portable lab for (e)DNA analysis in remote areas like the tropical forests of Tanzania. We work together to train young Tanzanians in this amazing work field and to enhance protocols used for eDNA sampling and analysis.

  • RISE - Grumeti Fund

    Together with the Research and Innovation for the Serengeti Ecosystem (RISE) program, we facilitate biodiversity monitoring trainings in new and upcoming technologies. We are committed to building in-country capacity and investing in passionate, talented people who are dedicated to the conservation and management of Tanzania’s world-renowned protected areas and natural resources.

  • Sensing Clues

    Sensing Clues is an NGO which delivers AI-driven technology for nature conservation organisations which provides real-time insights and actionable information. We work together to offer the best practical tools to monitor biodiversity on the ground.
